I just wanted to make a post about two covers that I’ve been seriously into for the last few days. The first one is Agoraphobic Nosebleed covering Gang Green’s “Alcohol.” I got into punk in my early teens and I always loved the freedom and aggression to it. Being a punk fan, of course I know of Gang Green. I love the original “Alcohol,” but I gotta give props to ANb for doing a pretty sick cover.

The second cover I want to get to is Thou covering Black Sabbath’s “Black Sabbath.” Before I got into punk, I was raised on classics such as Black Sabbath. Well, I was intrigued when I finally stumbled across Thou’s rendition. Extremely cryptic, punishing doom.
