I got my iPhone a while back. Right around the time that iPhone 3 came out, in fact and since having my phone, I have realized that it truly sucks that iPhone users could not listen to a band’s MySpace page though Safari or the Google App on an iPhone. You can view the band’s page, read bios, etc. but no music. Well, today out of nowhere I looked up some band, I can’t even remember who it was and when I clicked the MySpace link for the band, I saw the band’s track listing with play buttons next to them.

I don’t know if this excites anyone besides myself, but I find it pretty cool. Bandcamp has been available on iPhones for a long time, since I’ve updated my phone last (a few months back) at least. On the mobile MySpace page, it only lists a few songs for streaming and at the top of the page it states “Visit my MySpace profile online to hear more songs and build playlists for later.” So I guess it’s just a sampling thing. Regardless, it’s pretty gnarly. MySpace is finally starting to turn their shit around!
