If you have never heard of the band Botch, shame on you. You are missing out on some of the most awesome music ever created by one of the most influential hardcore/mathcore bands that ever existed. More people need to know about them, so that is why I picked their first album as album of the week. This album (as was We Are the Romans) was a major influence on the hardcore scene at the time and the band still continues to influence bands. I know they have significantly influenced my guitar playing quite a bit since I started listening  to them. This would be a good time to check this album and this band out. Do it or die. -Lane Oliver
