I’ve spent a lot of 2011 on Bandcamp, as most of you know, and one of the things I come across more than anything on there are band’s demos. I love listening to filthy, raw demos and so I’ve decided to do a “Best Demos of 2011″ list while I still have the time. Do you spend time listening to demos? Vattnet Viskar – Demo 2011
Mi amigos Vattnet Viskar. How could I forget you? These guys play amazing post-black metal that will encase you in despair and loathing. Don’t you love it? Listen/download here.

Black Monolith – Demo EP
Holy shit. What can I say about Black Monolith? Crushing, atmospheric, blackened crust punk a la Wolvhammer. That’s the best way to describe this bands sound. I have listened to this demo nonstop since I first downloaded it and that’s exactly why I chose this as my favorite demo of 2011. Listen/download here or below.
