MARILYN MANSON Joined By Johnny Depp and Son For New Song

Marilyn Manson’s new album, Born Villain (May 1st) will feature a cover of Carly Simon’s classic “You’re So Vain” as a bonus track. On said track, Johnny Depp and his nine year old son Jack will make guest appearances. Johnny is apparently contributing drums and lead guitar to the cover while Jack’s part has yet to be specified. I know, I don’t know what to say either.

Where They Come From: GOD FORBID Release New Music Video

Back in September I posted about how good I though the new God Forbid track “Where We Come From” was. I was seriously impressed by the track and I am even more impressed by the music video that the band put out to go along with it. The video features footage of the band playing live as well as a glimpse into the everyday lives of the members of God Forbid. Check out the gnarly video below. Enjoy.

Equilibrium will be released on April 26th via Victory Records.

Oozing Black Discharge: JOB FOR A COWBOY Release New Track

I have said it before and I will keep on saying it. I don’t mind Job For A Cowboy, but I am not a fan of theirs per se. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that they were fucking horrible and they morphed into something fairly listenable but still. You all get my point, right? The band has released another new track off of their Demonocracy album which is due out on April 10th via Metal Blade Records. This track, titled “Black Discharge” is pretty good. It’s heavy and fast and shit, you know? The song was originally streaming over at Metal Underground but thanks to the wonders of the internet, it is now available in the YouTube clip below. Enjoy.

Pussyfootin’ Around The Noose: NO ANCHOR Release New EP

I’ve known about No Anchor for a while now, ever since they released Real Pain Supernova on Grindcore Karaoke. I didn’t get into the band until a few months ago but their sludgy, deep presence was something that I was very impressed by. Apparently a few days ago, No Anchor released a new EP titled Rope / Pussyfootin’ on Grindcore Karaoke and it fucking slays. Rope / Pussyfootin’ takes where Real Pain Supernova left off and crushes reality by being even more amazing.

Still, I don’t know where to categorize No Anchor, but for now I will just file them under “un-fucking-believable.” Sound good? Check out the new EP below and be sure to grab the vinyl so that you can hear the fourth track that is not available for streaming. GET ON IT!
