Deftones frontman Chino Moreno recently gave an interview with the Chilean site Latercera.com that the band has completed pre-production on their latest offering. Moreno had this to say on the upcoming release:

“I know everybody says this, but I think it’s best album we’ve written. I am very excited because it sounds futuristic compared to our last album — so it feels like a step forward.”

I am curious to see how this will turn out since Diamond Eyes left a lot to be desired, at least for me. Keep an eye out for more Deftones news in the future. In the meantime, jam out to “When Girls Telephone Boys”.
