Swans have released the trailer for their upcoming live DVD that will be featured in the special edition version of their upcoming record, The Seer, which is due out in late August. I am extremely excited for this new record and you should be too. Below is the set list for the DVD as well as the trailer and a little song called “Killing for Company”. Check it out.

Combine the sounds of Merzbow, early Swans and The Locust and what do you get? Something you wouldn’t want around your children. That’s for sure. But you also get a band called White Suns that creates some of the harsher noise jams ever conceived. Their second full length, Sinews, is a tour de force of ugly sounds and malcontent.
