I am an insane fan of hardcore and punk, as most of you should know by now. What some of you might not know is that Minor Threat is one of my all time favorite bands. They were fucking phenomenal and they will never be forgotten. Never. Their release that sits the most with me is the bands First Demo Tape which I recently re-bought on CD.
This album is so fucking solids it’s insane. With instant classics that remain amazing to this day like the self-titled “Minor Threat,” “Bottled Violence,” “Guilty Of Being White,” not to mention the track “Straight Edge” which led to the sXe movement. This album is just monumental and that is why it has been chosen as the Album Of The Month here at American Aftermath.
I need to catch up on the history of hardcore. My knowledge of bands spans from late 90′s to current.
