It should be obvious to everyone at this point that I am HUGE David Lynch fan and hopefully some of you guys are too. At any rate, I am pleased to announced that the record label Sacred Bones has teamed up with David Lynch once again (recently collaborated on a remix of Zola Jesus’ “In Your Nature) to reissue the soundtrack to his classic, surreal 1977 film Eraserhead. The soundtrack will be released on August 6th in deluxe vinyl format and will be limited to 1,500 copies and will include a digital download of the soundtrack, a 16 page booklet, three 11″ prints, and a 7″ of the film’s original song that you should all be familiar with (or be familiar with the Pixies’ cover of it), “In Heaven”. I am excited! Below is the original soundtrack for all those who are interested.
