Depressive suicidal black metal group, Shining(Swe) have recently announced the title of their upcoming album, Redefining Darkness, as well as the launch of a new website for the band. Set to release on October 28th of this year via Spinefarm Records International, Redefining Darkness is the first Shining album not to preface itself with a number. On the issue of the change, vocalist and founder of the band, Niklas Kvarforth, states:

“The use of numbers to describe our albums is no longer something that Shining is interested in doing. The new album is without a doubt the darkest thing I have ever done or heard. People will be upset for sure – and hopefully its divine genius will destroy the lives of thousands.”

If the past albums weren’t dark enough, all I can say is…expect Hell, October 28th.
