Heavy hitters Defeater, who I have been trying to classify for well over a year, are about to hit the road with Rotting Out, Hundredth and Silver Snakes. This should be a very interesting tour, if I do say so myself. Defeater are a pretty varied band with hardcore, screamo, post-rock and post-punk elements all fused into one monstrous band. The only other band on the tour I am familiar with is Rotting Out, who are your standard new decade hardcore punk band. That seemed ruder than I meant it to. There’s nothing wrong with the band, that’s just how I choose to describe them. So yeah, peep the dates below and be sure to check out one of these shows if it hits your area.
