Hello! Got home from where to be facefucked by a new Converge song and video. Exciting. Very exciting. When the song started I was slightly underwhelmed, but as it progressed I found myself digging the hell out of it. I went into it expecting this and that’s now what I found at all. It seems (at least for this track) the band has harnessed more melody and replaced a good amount of their signature chaos. Don’t fret! The chaos remains!

This is really my own fault, however because I should have known by now that it’s stupid to have specific expectations out of Converge, who have proved time and time again that they are completely unpredictable.
