Rich kids rejoice!! Instrumental progressive band Animals As Leaders have announced that this winter the band will be holding a private instructional camp dubbed “Camping With Animals”. The Animals As Leaders camp will be a four-day winter retreat that includes one-on-one instruction, seminars, “gourmet meals”, Workshops”, performances and “other camp activities”. The musicians that are announced as of now are Tosin Abasi, Javier Reyes, Matt Garstka, and The Faceless bassist Evan Brewer. Several other musicians are scheduled to appear but no other specific names have been given at this date.
The camp takes place on January 2nd to 6th, 2013, at Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, New York. If you or your parents have hella cash, you can sign up here. As you can imagine, this shit is incredible expensive, but I honestly can’t imagine any normal working 18-28 year old could afford this without some sort of assistance. I bet it would be worth it though. Some of the tips could be invaluable if you are serious musician. Continue after the jump for the official press release and an introductory video from Tosin.

“As a musician, I’ve benefited the most from demonstration,” says Abasi, Animals As Leaders’ guitarist. “I hope to create an environment for other aspiring musicians to do the same. I and the other instructors involved will be at your disposal to provide an opportunity for growth and inspiration. I believe that this is truly a unique group of players with highly individual approaches to their instruments together in one place at one time.”
