If you are looking for some slow burning, malevolent sounding doom metal that is fueled by blood and pure hatred then look no further. Ethan McCarthy of notable grind acts Clinging to the Trees of a Forest Fire and Death of Self comes the towering beast that is Primitive Man. The group will release their debut full length, Scorn, on January 5th according to their Bandcamp page. At the bottom of the page is your first taste of this band in a nine minute song called “Antietam”. The song centers around the doom style while incorporating elements of sludge, noise and Ethan’s penchant for dissonance. “Antietam” is nine minutes of pure, unrelenting destruction that will leave you bruised and bleeding.
