It seems like this rejuvenated version of Exhumed means business. It’s been a little over a year since the band released their brutal 2011 offering “All Guts, No Glory” and the band is already back in the studio. Exhumed’s drummer is currently hold up in California tracking drums for their forthcoming, currently untitled album.

The rest of the band is scheduled to finish up recording in Arizona with Landmine Marathon guitarist Ryan Butler. The group is eying sometime mid next year for a possible release date. Band vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey said this about the current tracking sessions -

We’re super psyched to be back in the studio working on a new record. The songs we’ve worked up are a bit darker and more open this time around, but of course built on the same disgusting foundation we’ve been repulsing people with for years. It’s a really natural progression from All Guts… and it’s a lot of fun to work with the lineup that’s done all the touring. It feels a lot more like a ‘real band’ situation this time around. There will be periodic studio reports on our blog:
