LA based progressive sludge band Intronaut have just announced that they will be hitting the studio this very weekend to start recording their currently untitled (atleast publicly) new album. This new album will be the follow to their 2010 fantastic release Valley Of Smoke. As of now, nothing else has been made public other than it will be released “sometime” early 2013 on Century Media.

The group did try and help spice up this news by giving us a little taste of some new material. Based off the two jam videos I’ve seen, I’d say this album will probably be a continuation of what the band was going for on Valley. I, personally, am really really looking forward to Intronaut’s new release, and it’s not just cause I am a big fan, It’s because these teasers sound great.
