CLUTCH Post “Earth Rocker” Studio Footage

Clutch have begun uploading studio footage from their Earth Rocker recording sessions. The first little video shows bassist Dan Maines tracking some parts and discussing the approach to this new record. Also, as an added bonus, I have posted a video of vocalist Neil Fallon discussing the title of the record and some footage of Clutch performing the title track live. Check all of that good stuff below.

Earth Rocker should be out in March of next year.

The Mars Volta/At the Drive-In frontman, Cedric Bixler-Zavala is apparently working on a solo album of his own. Move over Omar! A series of special guests are set to help the Volta crooner flesh out his album according to photos the vocalist has uploaded to his Instagram account. The photo alludes that he will receive help from Gregory Rogove (Unknown Mortal Orchestra), David Hidalgo (Los Lobos), Johnny Polonski (Puscifer) and Juan Alderete (Mars Volta). Oh and Money Mark (Beastie Boys, etc) as well! Hmmm, we’ll see how this turns out. More details to come.

According to The PRP, Every Time I Die and The Acacia Strain are rumored to co-headline a tour next year sometime in March. The shitty Buffalo dudes and the chug masters will see support from Vanna, Hundredth and No Bragging Rights. No other details have been released as of yet but I can assure you I will keep your little ass updated.

CODE ORANGE KIDS Streaming New Album

Code Orange Kids are currently streaming their Deathwish Inc. debut, Love is Love//Return to Dust, over at Brooklyn Vegan. The record doesn’t come out until the 20th but you can go ahead and get your fix of Converge inspired, blistering hardcore! It’s a pretty solid release in my opinion. Check it out and MOSH.

Also, be sure to check out Code Orange Kids on tour with Gaza and Full of Hell.
