I’m not sure why I haven’t posted about this fucking beast yet. It was released last week and it’s so fucking good it’s ridiculous. Meek Is Murder is one of the gnarliest, uncategorizable bands out there and I love them. The viciousness rubs you in all the right ways. If you have yet to embrace the almighty…. might that is Meek Is Murder, definitely pick up Into The Sun Where It Falls Off The Sky as well as Algorithms and Mosquito Eater. Ben Weinman, Giraffe Tongue Orchestra, new album, Steve Evetts, The Dillinger Escape Plan, wyclef jean

In a recent interview with Metal Injection, Dillinger Escape Plan guitarist Ben Weinman stated that the band will enter the studio this coming Monday (November 5th) to begin tracking their new album with producer Steve Evetts. The band are planning to have their new record out sometime in April. In other Weinman related activities, Giraffe Tongue Orchestra, the project featuring Weinman and members of Mars Volta, Mastodon and Jane’s Addiction, are planning to have their debut release out in January or February. On his collaboration with Wyclef Jean, Weinman stated that he has created a beat for a track and is also working on a guitar solo for it. Damn, Weinman likes to stay busy.

The most important thing to take from this post is that NEW DILLINGER IS ON THE WAY.
