The equilibrium destroying noise rock outfit White Suns are currently working on a new record according to a recent Facebook update. The group plans to have the record out late next year. No specific details have been announced as of yet. I enjoyed their new record Sinews quite a bit so I am excited how much they make my ears bleed this time. Check out a track from Sinews below.

Moscow sludgy demolition crew, Montezuma’s Revenge, have released a new track by the name of “Anti-Entity”. The aforementioned single will appear on the band’s highly anticipated debut full length Key to the Abyss, which is slated to be released by the end of this year. ”Anti-Entity” is four minutes of monstrous, dirty sludge that will drag your body through the mud like a little rag doll. It’s extremely heavy and memorable as well. It even features a sample from the awesome film, Bug. You’ll recognize it. You may remember the announcement that ex-Animals as Leaders drummer Navene Koperweis would be releasing a solo, electronic centered EP under the name Navene K. Well the Human Design EP was released yesterday and is available for free download. The title track features guest bass from The Faceless’ Evan Brewer if that tickles your fancy. Anyway, stream it below.

Misery Index have announced that they will be releasing a new live album on February 15th (overseas) via Season of Mist. The album will be entitled Live In Munich and will capture the band’s set at the Backstage in Munich, Germany on February 18th of this year. It is slated to be released on a hand-numbered vinyl limited to 500 copies. No word yet of a US release but I will keep you guys updated.

Four piece hardcore outfit, Complete Failure, have announced that they will be partnering with the good guys over at Season of Mist. The crusty dudes will release their new record, The Art Gospel of Aggravated Assault through the label on February 15th. Experimental drone/doom duo Wolvserpent have recently inked a deal with good ol’ Relapse Records. The duo is currently in the studio recording their new full length, Perigaea. It would be safe to assume that Relapse will be putting that out. Wolvserpent are offering a little taste of Perigaea in the form of free downloadable demos of tracks that are slated to be featured on the aforementioned record. Greek metallers Rotting Christ are prepping the release of their next full-length which will be titled Do What Thou Wilt. This album will be released by Season Of Mist on March 1st of next year. If you are a fan of the band, this sound excite you. I will be checking it out even though I was more a fan of the band in their black metal days and even that split with Sound Pollution in ’89 when they were still a grind band. I haven’t been a fan of Hatebreed for a long, long time, but the bands new track that they’ve just released is nothing to sneeze at. I went into expecting 100% suck but what I took from it was this: this might be the best that Hatebreed has sounded in a long time. It’s fast, it’s heavy and Jamey doesn’t sound like a douche. I can’t count how many times I have praised the good people of CVLT Nation for constantly posting amazing, dark music. At least a few times a week I find something new and astonishing on that site and I fucking love it. Recently the site premiered full album streams by Seattle’s Bell Witch and Chicago’s Doomsday. Both, fucking incredible releases from two very, very different bands. If your in the mood to start your day with some crusty death metal and/or crushing doom, this is your lucky day. Groovy Florida hardcore group, Losin’ It and their fellow grind/powerviolence brethren, Super Mutant, have recently announced a brief Winter tour for the upcoming months of December and January. Losin’ It are following up on their 7″ EP, Danger Zone, with their upcoming album, No Apology, expected late December via Life To Live Records. Super Mutant are following up on urm…I’m not so sure actually. Their bandcamp, which used to hold all their songs, now only holds one so I never really got to check them out. That one song, “Polarized”, that is playing is however, heavy as an anvil. On the other hand, Super Mutant are featured on a compilation entitled Worldwide Powerviolence, they contribute a grimy, fast, and angry track entitled “Grave Steps”.
