I haven’t really done any spotlights on bands in a while, but when I come across something that absolutely blows my mind, I have to tell you fucks about it. I was recently introduced to a band called Haut & Court who are a French grind/chaotic mathcore band. How did I learn about them? Torn Flesh Records (who I have known professionally for quite some time) recently released the bands album through their website and labeled it as “mathcrust.” I don’t know about you guys, but when I see a word like “mathcrust” I kinda HAVE to hear the band.

When I listened to Haut & Court I was quite pleased with the outpouring of chaotic… gnarliness. The band is fast, furious and French, three things that I didn’t think I would put together in a sentence any time soon. It’s honestly killer music.
