New Jersey metallic hardcore purveyors, Old Wounds, have announced the released of their debut full length LP. The new record will be entitled From Where We Came Is Where We’ll Rest and will see the light of day on February 26th via Glory Kid Ltd. As of right now, you can stream a track from the upcoming outing on the band’s Bandcamp page. The track is called “Disbelieve” and sweet zombie Jesus is it a ripper. Vancouver based hardcore band, Baptists, have premiered a new track via Brooklyn Vegan. The track is called “Think Tank Breed” and it is a minute and a half of face ripping crusty hardcore that will beat you into a senseless bloody and heap and leave you begging for more. The track comes from their upcoming record, Bushcraft, which will see a release via Southern Lord on February 19th. Stream the track below and check out the new album’s track listing.
Arsonists Get All the Girls have recently entered the studio with producer Zack Ohren (All Shall Perish, etc). to record their fifth full length record. The only other details released so far is that the album will feature fifteen new tracks according to a studio update which can be viewed below. I haven’t listened to this band in quite some time. Maybe I should revisit their wackiness.
Marriages (Red Sparowes, etc) recently took part in a Glassroom Session with label Sargent House in which the band performed an acoustic version of a new song. The song has been given the title “The Shadow of My Name” and it is just simply gorgeous in every way possible. The band are reportedly working on their follow up to their debut EP Kitsune of last year. I assume this track will make an appearance. Everyone’s favorite grindcore outfit, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, are entering the studio to ready some new head-smashing grind for the whole family to enjoy. But they are not simply recording one new record. Oh no, they are recording four new records! That’s right! Four! Have you defecated in your pants from the excitement?
