Swiss band Cortez might have the break-out album of the year for me. Although it is the groups second album, I consider it a “break-out” because this is the first album I have heard from them. With that said, Cortez are mind-blowing, chaotic might and majesty in music form.      
Cortez released their new album Phoebus last month and it has been absolutely blowing me away. It’s an incredible album through and through. The raw energy of the album is enough to draw you in and the beautiful execution of the songs is enough to hold you there. To accompany the albums release, Cortez have released a music video for the track “Arrogants Que Nous Sommes.” You can check out the video below as well as stream Phoebus in it’s entirety.
