119? Fuck That, Call 911: Watch This Mini TRASH TALK Documentary

To commemorate the release of their new album “119“, this past Saturday hardcore band Trash Talk held a little shindig in their LA based warehouse home. The special free event consisted of two shows and a “barbecue”. Luckily for all us non LA residents, journalists from the hipster news outlet Pitchfork to document the mayhem. You can watch the 7 minute video above. It’s got everything from clips of Tyler, The Creator moshing on kids to skateboarding to a kid getting a gnarly cut on his forearm (which is what I am referencing in the title).

Both shows featured in the video look like so much fun. I’ve got a bunch of friends who live in LA and I am pissed at them for not going to this… If I lived there, I would have been at this shit in a second. If you haven’t really checked these guys out before then watch this video and cop a copy of Trash Talk’s new release “119“.

Corrupt And Mistreated: TRASH TALK Make Track Off “119” Available For Streaming

Trash Talk‘s new album 119 is now available for pre-order over on the Odd Future estore. The 14 track album will hit the streets and web on Oct. 9th via Odd Future Records. It’s worth noting that one of the tracks features rappers Hodgy Beats and Tyler, The Creator. I can only wonder what’s that going to be like..

The band has put up another song off 119 on soundcloud (which you can stream below). “Exile On Broadway” continues to flirt with the band’s new-found love for mid-tempo punk riffs. It’s a solid track but is still rather forgettable even for being barely over a minute in length.

Tracklist –

  • 1. Eat the Cycle
  • 2. Exile on Broadway
  • 3. My Rules
  • 4. F.E.B.N.
  • 5. Uncivil Disobedience
  • 6. Blossom & Burn (Feat. Hodgy Beats & Tyler, The Creator)
  • 7. Reasons
  • 8. F**k Nostalgia
  • 9. Apathy
  • 10. Thanks, But No Thanks
  • 11. Bad Habits
  • 12. Swinging to Pieces
  • 13. For the Lesser Good
  • 14. Dogman

TRASH TALK Release New Music Video

Trash Talk have released their new, Tyler the Creator directed music video for their new single “F.E.B.N”. The video is mainly a performance video shot in black white. The hardcore quartet jams out while acts of hooliganism are being performed in the background. The song will appear on the group’s upcoming record, 119, which will be released on October 9th via Odd Future Records. Apparently Tyler and Hodgy Beats from OFWGKTA are slated to appear on the track “Blossom & Burn”. I’m not sure how I feel about that. Anyways, check out the video below.
