BORIS Announce US Tour

Everyone’s favorite Japanese trio, Boris, have announced a new US tour that will begin in late April. What’s special about this tour is that starting on May 1st, the band will be performing “residency” shows in which Boris will play the same city two nights in a row with two different sets. The first night will be an anthology of sorts; featuring songs that span the band’s career as well as new ones. The second night will be a performance of their “cult classic” Flood album as well as a noise/drone set. CONVERGE To Put Out Multiple Releases In 2013

According to a recent Facebook update, Converge will be lining up several releases this year. The band intends to release a Live on BBC Radio EP, a new DVD/Film project, a vinyl reissue of Caring & Killing through Hydra Head and much more. CHELSEA WOLFE Announces New U.S. Tour

The doomy songstress, Chelsea Wolfe, has announced a new winter U.S. tour that will kick off in San Francisco in early January. She will be accompanied by occult folk purveyor King Dude from January 11th through January 26th as shown on the tour poster above. Then Chelsea will continue her acoustic centered tour through February 8th. Also, the upcoming split between Chelsea and Dude is supposedly going to be available at the shows. CARCASS Finishing Up New Record?

According to Blabbermouth, the legendary Carcass are rumored to be putting the finishing touches on their first LP in 17 years. Long time active members, guitarist Bill Steer and bassist/vocalist Jeff Walker are reportedly recording the effort with producer Colin Richardson (Slipknot, Machine Head). Carcass have been working with drummer Matthias Voight (Heaven Shall burn) in the studio as well and are eyeing a 2013 release for the record. The group has set to secure a label home however.

According to The PRP, Every Time I Die and The Acacia Strain are rumored to co-headline a tour next year sometime in March. The shitty Buffalo dudes and the chug masters will see support from Vanna, Hundredth and No Bragging Rights. No other details have been released as of yet but I can assure you I will keep your little ass updated.

More dates have leaked for the rumored Between the Buried and Me, Coheed and Cambria and Russian Circles 2013 tour. The additional dates are as follows:

02/08 Detroit, MI – Fillmore
02/13 Magna, UT – The Saltair
02/17 Portland, OR – Roseland Theater
03/07 Orlando, FL – House Of Blues
03/14 Boston, MA – House Of Blues

In addition to that, Coheed and Cambria have been teasing an announcement to be revealed on November 5th. Could it be about the tour? Who knows? All I know is if they do not come to Texas I will kill myself. I will. Just watch.

THE BRONX To Release New Album In January

According to the band’s Facebook page, The Bronx are eyeing a January 2013 release for a new full length record. No other details have been released so far but I promise you that it is not a Mariachi El Bronx record(which aren’t bad to be honest). It’s the good ol’ punk Bronx you all know and love.
