Lewistown, PA’s dumbbell demolishing, metallic hardcore outfit Benchpress have announced an eight date tour outing with fellow Doylestown, PA peers Rock Bottom set for late May. Hardcore’s favorite band named after an act of physical exercise, Benchpress, return for a secondary pit punishing workout. Drawing upon a further alignment to thrash metal and death metal influences, “Silver Spoon” brutally builds upon the foundations of Benchpress’s first blood effort Stay Hated(free download here) and represents the first cut off of the group’s long awaited sophomore EP, Controlled By Death, out this upcoming Spring via Marked For Death Records.
