From the mind of members of Bereft and Graviton comes the epic, sprawling compositions of National Sunday Law. This California duo creates massive sonic passages that transcend the stylistic expectations of the band’s they spawn from. The group’s most recent creation, Festival of the Horned God, is a three song, twenty-seven minute journey through themes of religious cynicism, ritualistic behavior and pagan imagery set to the tune of experimental post-metal and other broad ranges of sound. Festival of the Horned God may be short but it makes up for its length with these truly impressive pieces of sound.
