Literally hours after I featured the brutal dark hardcore group YOUR SON IS DEAD(in my new weekly column, Cryptic Passages) and wrote about their utter lack of internet and communicative transparency, the nameless, faceless, and relatively speechless ghoul(s) have spoken once more. Proving once again that their music is the only statement they will ever need to make, YOUR SON IS DEAD posted their second ever update on their Facebook page three hours earlier, a succinct sentence announcing “whole ep available for streaming” with a link to their now updated bandcamp page. And it was all that came to be expected, YOUR SON IS DEAD is simply the embodiment of suffering, brutality made flesh, brutal dark hardcore done right. Continue reading »
