Promoter Vs. Promoter: DEATH TO ALL Tour Drama Boils Over

So this morning I woke up to some serious E-drama and E-accusations making its way through the underground. As most of you will remember, a few months back Sick Drummer Magizine and former Death manager decided to put on a tour in honor of Chuck Schuldiner‘s legacy. The tour consisted of seven dates and numerous amazing musicians, who at one point in time all contributed to the legendary Death. The tour was a success with some of its attendees while being a nightmare for others.

Tons of fans never received their tour merch orders while some fans in Dallas and Atlanta got completely boned due to those dates being cancelled and not getting refunds. The whole situation was very reminiscent of the Hellfest incident in the mid 2000’s. None of what is mentioned above is news to anyone, however we have recently seen an update from behind the scenes. This new insight is brought to us by former Death manager, Eric Greif, who issued a statement about the tour via Gunshyassassians. Greif is claiming that no only did certain fans of the tour get fucked but so did he, The Schuldiners, The touring musicians, the crew, and most importantly the charity that 20% of all proceeds were supposed to go to….
Continue after the jump to read more about the incident as well as official statements from both the promoter (Sick Drummer Magazine) and Death’s former manager.
