Surely you people are familiar with JK Flesh at this point but if you’re not, the project is one of the many brainchildren of Justin K. Broadrick, mastermind behind Godflesh. The project is electronic on a massive scale and it’s really fun. Well, Justin has released a new EP under the JK Flesh moniker titled “Nothing Is Free” and despite the name, the release is available for “Pay What You Want” on Bandcamp. Stream Songs From The New JK FLESH/PRURIENT Split

As previously reported, the upcoming JK Flesh and Prurient split,  Worship is the Cleansing of the Imagination, will be final Hydra Head release. The split will be released on December 11th but Brooklyn Vegan has an exclusive stream of two tracks from the upcoming split. JK Flesh’s (Justin Broadrick of Godflesh and Jesu) “Fear of Fear” is a noisy, heavy industrial beat down with a wicked primal beat. Prurient’s “I Understand You” is ambient and full of haunting layers of humming drones. Stream the songs below and be sure to pick it up on the 11th.

PRURIENT Understands You: New Track Released

The legendary Hydra Head Records will end its nearly twenty year run with a split LP from noise artist Prurient and Justin Broadrick’s (Godflesh,Jesu,etc) industrial slam factory JK Flesh, whose debut album Posthuman is available now. The split will be entitled Worship is the Cleansing of the Imagination and will see a release on December 11th. Pitchfork is currently streaming a cut from the upcoming split record entitled “I Understand You”, which is written by Prurient. The track is seven minutes of churning noise buzzing over a simple keyboard melody. The track is very repetitive but in a hypnotic kind of way. JUSTIN BROADRICK Releases Another JK FLESH Promo Edit

Justin Broadrick (Godflesh, Jesu) has released yet another promo edit of a track from his upcoming JK Flesh release Posthuman (April 30th). This track is called “Punchdrunk” and is a loud, noisy, white noise laden doom industrial track that sounds like if Neurosis had a baby with Merzbow and then tortured it with Godflesh’s Streetcleaner. In other words, it sounds awesome. Check it out below.
