AEGES Writing New Material

According to a recent photo uploaded by drummer Larry Herweg (Pelican, etc), hard rock outfit Aeges are in the process of writing their follow up to their solid debut record, The Bridge. That album was heavy and catchy in all the right places and showed off the band’s potential. I can even begin to fathom how good the next record will be. Demoing Underway For New EAST OF THE WALL Record

East of the Wall announced weeks before the release of The Apologist that they were already writing new material. Well it looks like the new record is on its merry way according to a recent Facebook update:

Recording drums for the album demos right now. It’ll be for 75% of the record. We still have one half finished song to get back to, and we may write one more.

I am extremely curious as to how this will sound since it will be the first record without guitarist/clean vocalist Kevin Conway. But I am excited nonetheless!

New BIRD EATER Record On The Way!

According to a recent Facebook update, Bird Eater’s (Gaza, etc) new record since 2007′s Utah EP is nearing completion. The update comes from Gaza on the second comment on the post:

It’s recorded, sequenced, and I believe mastered. Artwork just needs to be completed (which is mostly there) and a date given for the release.

So we should be seeing new Bird Eater very, very soon. To get you pumped up for the coming chaos that Bird Eater will undoubtedly bestow upon us, here is “La Llorona (The Crying Witch”.
