Rotting Christ have been a staple in the extreme music scene for a long, long time. The band has had quite a few genre shifts in their career, starting off as a grindcore bands before switching to straight-forward black metal and now to blackened extreme whateveryouwant. Regardless, the band’s career has ebbed and flowed with me, with some albums standing out much more than others. The band’s latest album Kata Ton Daimona Eaytoy has stuck with me, however, and I see it as one of their best releases in years.

Back in November I told you about Rotting Christ‘s forthcoming album Do What Thou Wilt which is set for release on March 5th via Season Of Mist. I also mentioned how I haven’t really listened to the band for quite some time, but after hearing the new track off of the album, I might just be checking this one out. Now, while I don’t see this as one of the greatest things in upcoming metal history, there is something about this track that I just don’t hate.

Greek metallers Rotting Christ are prepping the release of their next full-length which will be titled Do What Thou Wilt. This album will be released by Season Of Mist on March 1st of next year. If you are a fan of the band, this sound excite you. I will be checking it out even though I was more a fan of the band in their black metal days and even that split with Sound Pollution in ’89 when they were still a grind band.
