Italian instrumental outfit Australasia has released a new music video for their song “Fragile” off of their stellar debut EP, Sin4tr4. The track’s ethereal, calming guitars blend in quite nicely with these colorful arrays of microscopic organisms. Watching the organisms move while Australasia’s gorgeous guitar work float gracefully above everything is actually very soothing. Check out the video and stream their EP below.

Being the huge Pelican fan that I am, coming across a band that shares the name of a Pelican album is something you do not pass up. Whether or not Italy’s Australasia took their name from Pelican’s first full length LP is beyond me but I digress. Australasia put out their debut EP, Sin4tr4, on Italy’s up and coming Golden Morning Sounds records this year. This seven track long, twenty-two minute release is something to be marveled at for doing something a little different with the post-rock/metal style.
