According to a recent photo uploaded by drummer Larry Herweg (Pelican, etc), hard rock outfit Aeges are in the process of writing their follow up to their solid debut record, The Bridge. That album was heavy and catchy in all the right places and showed off the band’s potential. I can even begin to fathom how good the next record will be. No other details have been released so far but I will keep you in the loop. Until then, check out the video for “My Medicine” below.

Æges is a fairly new band featuring members of Pelican, Shift, Undertow and 16. With a line up like that it is hard not for curiosity to strike. They released their debut full length, The Bridge, via The Mylene Sheath earlier this month and I was pleasantly surprised by what I heard.
ÆGES (Pelican, etc) will release their debut album The Bridge on the 17th through The Mylene Sheath. For those who cannot wait you are in luck. Rdio.com has the entire album available for streaming as we speak. The only catch is that you have to sign up on the site. It’s free though so don’t freak out. Go listen now!
ÆGES, a side project featuring members of Pelican, Shift, Undertow, and 16 will release their album, The Bridge, on April 16th. If you like heavy rock in the vein of Helmet and Quicksand then this my friend is the band for you. Below you can check out the track listing and the first single from the outing, “Wrong”.
