King Giant will release their new album Black Ocean Waves in June and the band has released a lyric video for their new track “Red Skies.” I really love this track, first off. Secondly, the lyric video is strange, not really what I expect to see in 2015, but whatayagonnado? You can check out the video after the jump and see if you dig the track as much as I do. Enjoy. Man Will Destroy Himself isn’t a hard band to define, really: crusty, grinding punk of the greatest degree. Pure adrenaline soaked in gasoline and set on fire. I didn’t even know the band put out a new record until yesterday and I haven’t stopped listening to it since. It’s that fucking good. Filthy aggression and heavier than Mjölnir, this band’s fast, brutal approached to grinding punk is one that rivals all. I figured if I was going to listen to it so much, I might as well tell you all how it is. I will now begin my review of this monumental motherfucker. Check it.
“Circle The Drain” opens up with a nice punk riff instantly accompanied by bombarding blasting. The vocals are old school shrieks that do nothing but please my earholes. I cannot help myself from headbanging instantaneously. Fantastic, absolutely fantastic. Up next is “Catalyst” which has a much more straight-up grind vibe. Chaotic, catchy riffing and punishing blast beats make this track a winner in my book. I love these vocals. This track clocks in at just under three minutes, but it’s a fucking killer regardless. “Masks” opens with a sludgy vibe that soon bursts into a grinding monster. Insane riffing and chaotic drumming once more take the reins and kick my ass. Nothing but brutal fucking punk here and I love it. I don’t see how this could get any better.
Good morning, all. How are we doing today? This morning’s playlist is dedicated to Man Will Destroy Himself who I just learned have a new album out. How the hell did I not know this? I have heard absolutely nothing about Man Will Destroy Himself in a long time and I check the iTunes store this morning there it is, This Is a Test staring mt right in the face. Of course I had to check it out and I figured it would be on Bandcamp, so I checked there first. I am currently listening to it as I type this and holy shit, this is amazing. Subtle as a fucking nuclear warhead, Man Will Destroy Himself never let their fans down. You can check out the album below and then go buy it from Bandcamp or iTunes. Love this band. Love them.
