Attack Of The Killer Tour Pt. 1: KVELERTAK, CONVERGE, TORCHE + More

Holy fuck. This. Tour. Rules. I mean, putting Kvelertak and Converge on a bill together is crazy enough. Adding in Torche? Whoa! That completely changes the game. And now you’re telling me that select dates will feature NAILS and/or Whips/Chains? You have got to be fucking kidding me. This is the kind of thing that dream tours are made of. If you miss this tour, you will forever be shunned. Please, do yourself a favor and catch these amazing bands if they are going to come through (and most likely destroy) your town. Check out the dates after the jump. Continue reading

Summer Is Upon Us: Download Three Killer Summer Samplers Right Now

I love Summer. Summer is usually a slow time for us metal bloggers because all of the major bands are out on tour or doing festivals. There isn’t a lot happening unless their is some major inter-band drama. When this time of year rolls around however, there is something pretty gnarly to get excited about: Summer Samplers from record labels!

Master The Slaves: Watch WHIPS/CHAINS New Video And Get Crushed

Whips/Chains is a new crushing, sludgy hardcore band who have recently been added to Deathwish, Inc.’s roster. When the name first came across my radar, I didn’t think much about it. It wasn’t until I found the band’s new video for their track “Secular Front” which comes off of the bands debut EP Master/Slave which was released today. Holy shit. This video was enough enticement for me that I bought the EP without even hearing another song off of it.

This band brings total destruction with their apocalyptic hardcore brand. This is something that you seriously don’t want to pass up. Check out the video below and buy the new EP Master/Slave. It’s only $4.95 on the ole’ iTunes. You kids don’t buy physical media anymore, do you? Enjoy.
